"So, what do you want?"
Life leading up to birthdays and major holidays and events can get pretty repetitive, so I thought I'd take some of the hassle out of things for everyone. Below are a selection of things that I'd be overjoyed to receive should you feel that way inclined.
Books - Amazon.co.uk Wishlist: Here is my book wishlist. It is pretty extensive and has been built up over a few years so has a reasonably varied range of titles... sort of. OK, so its mainly crafting, but at least its different sorts of crafting!
Plants: I'm still on a gardening binge. I've cleaned the shed, weeded the wall edging, Zeroed the pavers and re-poisoned the irksomely persistant robinia (which still refuses to die). I am trying to create a fully edible garden out the back (much to PSWCs dismay, he wants pretty things), and a beautiful flowering garden (as per PSWCs request) out the front. Herbs, veggies and anything fruiting or edible is more than welcome, as are pretty flowering things for the front. I'm also hunting some pretty cacti for my kitchen window so I can stare at something other than colourbond while I'm washing up. Oh, and anything carnivorous.
Gourmet food ingredients: I'm a sucker for the weird and wonderful, especially if they can be used to create something special. Unusual noodles, fancy spices, and things with unpronouncable names on the label are all welcome.
Magazine subscription: I have a range of magazines that I purchase on a regular basis, like Beadwork, Bead & Button, and occasionally Family Circle, Yarn, Practical Fishkeeping, and Delicious. I might even like something a bit designery or maybe something on digital photography.
Trail of Painted Ponies: OK, this is something completely frivilous, but totally droolworthy. I don't really collect anything special, some badges from places I have been, a few thimbles and antique silver knick knacks, but these I think I would very much like to have. I think they can be termed 'art', sort of like prints of paintings, but in 3D horse shapes :) I know they are completely useless and probably just dust collectors but there is something about them. I particularly like Super Charger, Blue Medicine, Renewal Of Life and Copper Enchantment. And since it is the holiday season, some of the ornaments are quite nice too, as are the pendants :) Unfortunately these are all scarily pricey even if you buy from the Aussie distributor, so unless you owe me a massive favour or feel incredibly guilty, purchasing anything from this range will in all probability make me feel awful.
Fish tank: You'd think I have enough, but *sigh* nope! I'm looking to trade up. My smallest 2 tanks are fairly useless for creating individual habitats (in this case, crabitats) but at the same time I don't want to go all out on one species with a ginormous setup. PSWC would have my hide anyway, we simply don't have the floorspace. I'm thinking something with a footprint of about 25cmx45cm would be ideal for my little crablets to run around in, and could neatly slot into some spare bench space ;) Plus it should have plenty enough space for a mezzanine level!
Lip Balm: Bored now, need new flavours. Anything fun that is a flavour which doesn't end in "berry" would be met with squeals of approval. I've had my eye on the buttered popcorn and chocolate frosting on eBay... ;)

I want most of the books on your list too!!! (I think I need to start my own wishlist!!)
And I love the painted ponies!!!
I'll get back to you about the electric lawnmower and the ironing board. (I know my Gran did have an ironing board she was going to throw out, don't know if it's gone yet.) (and my mum has an electric lawnmower that is about to be replaced by a brand new petrol one, so I'll see what's happening to it)
:)
Hey, how long has this been here? What a great idea. So you like the painted ponies that much, hey!? :) :)
Uuuum, either a year and a bit or a bit of a year... one or the other :) Not that many people find it, but it is useful to have here. I pointed Jerry to it for last xmas and he used to to help him when people did the "so what does she want?" thing.
*shuffles feet* I can't help it, they are gorgeous. :)
I didn't even know it was here!
Clever clogs that you are! You know me too well!
